I have had my Yaris since new and apart from brakepads and tyres have spent nothing. She is serviced every year and is a joy to drive. Every year when she is serviced the mechancs always say what a lovely car and cant believe how well she looks

practical, reliable, cheap to run easy parking, good ride for a small car

Runs well and is very comfortable for a small hatchback. Rather noisy on motorways and does feel the uneven roads, however it has good power for a small car. As it is top of the range it does have extras ie fitted satnav with Bluetooth and reversing camera. The only let down is the lack of storage space in the interior; only the glove compartment with no other compartment for coins, CDs, or other personal items that need to be kept out of sight. The boot has ample space and easily holds a set of golf clubs or two or three suitcases.

This is my second Toyota Yaris over 12 years and apart from the things that are replaced on a normal service, the only thing that I have had to replace between both vehicles, is one stop light. It is utterly reliable and starts first time every time regardless of the season. It is a car that I know will not leave my wife stranded miles from home.

I only gave 4 stars for comfort as the driver's seat is rather uncomfortable particularly when making longer journeys.

As a community nurse I need a reliable little car to get me around "my patch". It relatively economical, reliable but I desperately need a bigger engine as its simply not fast enough on some of the bigger roundabouts. In addition space is limited and when you carried a load of stuff for work all of which must, for security reasons go in the boot it can be a tad cramped

Small compact, easy to drive in town..easy to park. Economical to run.

its not the most comfortable of cars to drive and it takes a bit of getting used to the dash layout, but for price, reliability and running costs its an ideal car for getting around town and acciational longer journeys which returns a mpg of 50mpg+

my yaris is reliable nippy and economical. Ideal as a second car in the household.Lots of other road users see a Yaris and assume you will be driving slowly and indecisively, it's nice to prove them wrong.

My Toyota Yaris is a very nice car to drive but lacks a bit of "grunt" when tackling hilly locations like those found in North Devon. However for slight inclines, motorway and town driving it's really comfortable and nippy. A few niggly blind spots particularly when reversing mean you have to be a little careful. Otherwise it's cheep to run and comfortable to drive with plenty of room inside.

I chose a Yaris due to its really clever design and use of space, the split back seats fold completely flat and there are two flaps in the boot that also fold over so there are no gaps in the load space. It was the only little hatch I could fit my large dog cage into in such a way that the cage door could fully open allowing my two dogs to easily jump up and straight into it from the floor whilst STILL being able to use the smaller of the split rear seats! I also packed in a huge amount of car boot stuff into it. Now I only have one dog (but two toddler nieces) I can just about fit the smaller dog cage sideways in the back with both seats up and two toddler seats in. There is lots of storage in the glove box etc and a cunning little slide out shelf under the passenger seat. It is so easy to park. Seats four big people comfily, altho leg room a bit cramped if the front seats have to go right back. It is nippy and also no trouble to drive at top motorway speeds for long runs.
