Economical but with plenty of power should you need it. Probably uncomfortable for a very tall driver. Difficult to adjust seats in order to sit in the back or access back seats if needed to place shopping etc. With back seats down, excellent space for transporting items.

I have had my Yaris for 6 years now. It is a great little car for town driving - which is what I mostly do. Not too good on long motorway journeys. Excellent fuel consumption.

A very practical small car which, although not particularly engaging on the driver experience is perfectly acceptable for the daily commute, shopping or school run. There is a surprising amount of space inside given the cars small dimensions. Visibility is good all-round and the car is very easy to park given that it feels a much bigger vehicle than it actually is. Reliability is excellent and running costs are quite acceptable.

Only had the car 10 months. Very pleased with all aspects. I transport antiques and collectables and the folding back seats are very useful. My only complaint is the capacity of the fuel tank - around 330 miles

This is my second Yaris and personally cannot fault much about them. They may not be super comfortable or speedy, but they are reliable and economical to run.

1. Instrument panel is unsatisfactory, particularly the digital display, which needs to be much larger. 2. The smoked glass on the rear windscreen and rear windows is unnecessary. 3. Needs a larger glove compartment and also a central console between the front seats. 4. Engine is a bit underpowered.

Have had my Toyota Yaris for about 5 years. Very little gone wrong with it (touch wood), and really meets needs. Researched well before buying it. Only problem is back lower rear bumper seems to dent just by breathing on it (or my husband has been bumping into things!) Only reason I would change is if it started to go wrong. However, as 2nd grandson just born - do need to check how well the inside capacity is for 2 kiddie seats, daughter, husband and myself - but reasonably confident that the "Mighty Yaris" will cope!!

I love my yaris. Despite negative stuff about Toyota and their recalls and problems etc, my yaris has never let me down.Very reliable and economical and whenever I've taken it for a service or mot, I'm always told what a sturdy looking car it is underneath.Of course, the odd thing on it needs replacing like most cars but I would definately buy one again and can't fault toyota personally for great after sales feedback and follow up also.

A comfortable economic car that handles both rural and urban roads well. Inside is spacious - currently ferries four average-sized passengers for journeys up to 100miles comforably. The only disadvantage is the boot size - small if transporting a lot of luggage.

A very economic and nice looking simple car, perfect for local journeys, and surprisingly roomy inside.

In my person experience I find my Toyota Yaris is a comfortable, economical and reliable car. It is used on all types of road, including Urban, Suburban, A/B roads and Trunk/Motorway roads. I am very happy with my car and when it comes time to change it I will certainly place the Yaris very high up on the list of its' replacement.

Although a little more expensive than other similar cars the Yaris is very economical, reliable and well made. It is worth paying that bit extra.

Small, economical, good for couple, local travel, not so good for comfort and long distance travel, very good reliability

Had a Toyota Yaris for just over three years now and it has proved totally reliable and economical to run and to tax. Very pleased with it.

One of the best small cars I have ever driven. It is very comfortable and good on fuel Only downside is lack of power when on holiday in Scotland and climbing mountains with all luggage in car am so pleased my next car will be same model if I can find one

Like other Toyota`s I have owned this car is very reliable and I have had no mechanical or electrical problems with it. I have a few minor niggles though. The main one is the on board trafficator indication which is neither loud enough or large enough to capture your attention when travelling at speed. Therefore one can travel many miles with it still on after changing lanes on a motorway for instance. I prefer to see the instrument cluster behind the wheel but on my particular model of the Yaris they are mounted in a central position at the top of the dashboard. Apart from these I am happy with the cars performance and running costs.

Now on my 80s, most of my driving is local runs only, but I drive longer distances when on holiday in the UK. I have owned this car for four years. It has never let me down, is comfortable to drive and reasonably economical to run. I particularly enjoy driving in the semi-automatic mode whereby I control changing up with a simple flick of the selector lever, but changing down is automatic (although it can also be done manually) as the car slows and stops. I shall run it for a few years yet until it becomes uneconomic to continue or I get too infirm to drive!
