I am a little disappointed with some aspects of the car. I can no longer have the heat on my feet and the windscreen, this was something I could do on the previous Meriva model. The hand brake is now electric which is fine until I go to a hilly location and struggle to do a hill start, as soon as you put your foot on the accelerator the brake releases itself. There is no spare tyre and no matter what the car salesmen say the foam is useless in most cases.

This is my second Meriva, the first was 18oo. I previously has a Zaphira. Very practical car and ideal for my legs at my age

Car handles well. Only problem is lack of acceleration on an upward incline

small comfortable car with ample room for 4 adults, plenty of luggage space, not the fast's for acceleration but ample for the size of engine. No hesitation in buying another one.

very reliable, plenty of room for our requirements, I do not actually know the running costs as just fill with fuel, have regular servicing and repair if needed. Don't most people do the same!!! That is what a car is for!

I bought the Meriva as I was happy with my Corsa and wanted a larger car. This model is pretty much a larger version of the Corsa. It is very adaptable with seats collapsing to fully flat. It has a high seating position and adjustable driver's seat height and steering column. It is incredibly reliable and well made. The only minor drawback is that although it is a 1.5l engine, it takes a while to accelerate, however it more than makes up for this as it maintains its speed very well with minimal accelerator pedal depression. Would strongly recommend this vehicle for family use or comfortable travel in a hatch-back.
