A good car. After one early niggle when it lost engine oil through a faulty switch/detector it has been fine. Drives well, reasonable road noise reasonable mpg ( though short of the EU inspired useless figures). If you want a simple car that is good in towns an is fine for the occasional 100mile plus journey, it takes some beating.

It provides a comfortable and surprising low noise drive for a diesel. The drive has a feel of an expensive car. But I bought it for the economy features. I've had 87 mpg on a 200 mile mostly motorway journey. Generally when taking shorter journeys around 65+ around town and to the station. In 3.5 years its been totally reliable but that's to be expected from a modern car that gets its annual 12000 mile service. This is a car I expect to keep going for another 7 years before replacement. The sound system is the near perfect with the ability to play from mp3 from disk, usb stick, iPod or from another mp3 device. I surprise and amaze my relatives with its capacity to take 3m long items of wood from the DYI center. It's got everything but the status symbol.

MY FIESTA IS EASY TO DRIVE,GOOD ECONOMY QUITE A SPORTY FEEL AROUND TOWN DESPITE BEING DIESEL, BOOT SPACE IS OK EASILY FIT A LARGE FAMILY SHOP. INTERIOR COMFORTABLE FOR CHILDREN IN THE BACK AND GOOD LEGROOM FOR ME BUT IM ONLY SHORT NOT MUCH ROOM IF YOU ARE 6FT. OVERALL I WOULD DEFINATELY BUY ANOTHER ONE WHEN TIME COMES

I can't saying anything bad about my car, she's fantastic. Never broken down, running costs are amazing, runs on fresh air - tank of diesel lasts ages, great mpg. Really comfortable and loads of space, get the family in and our dog. The only thing that I would say is that she's not so good on the motorway, the revs and fuel consumption are quite high, but she's not designed for this, she's a round the town car and back and for to work, which is just what I need. This is my second Fiesta and I would definitely recommend it to a friend but Ford if you read this, the car needs a sixth gear (for the motorways).

The only problems with this car are age related. First start of the day is a little tempremental and is a bit slow on the uptake when accelerating. Designwise, a flick wipe on the rear screen wiper would have been good. The rear screen heater switch is located in such a position that I can't see it without having to move my left hand.

love my Fiesta !! Comfy drivers seat - good visability - comfy for long drives. Good fuel economy overall. Just love the Bluetooth option for phoning during long drives though the voice option does not seem to be as good - not good at picking up my dialect so often dials the wrong number !!

I was very dubious about the claims for my new Ford Zetec S Econetic with such a small cc engine, before I acquired it. However it is very lively, responsive, economical and a joy to drive. Futhermore, with its low emissions I pay no road tax for the pleasure. My only carp would be that externally the engine is a little noisy but this is not noticeable inside the car.

A good small reliable and cheap car to run but not the most comfortable . I would consider buying another ford fiesta when I replace this one with the next version fiesta as I feel ford always make are striving to make improvements

Driven from new in 2001 , 94k miles . Goes in for an annual service & MOT & good for another 12 months . Ultra reliable , still has original clutch & exhaust ! Although now an older vehicle it is noticeable there are still a lot of early fiestas on the road : they seem to be very reliable & robust for a small run around & quite cheap to run . Only grumble is bone hard suspension but that is proabably due to the age of the vehicle .

owned the car over 9 years and the reliability of it as been outstanding with little repairs needed. insurance is ok and I achieve over 40 to the gallon, but £175 road tax is a little high compared to a lot of newer cars. good to drive and reasonably responsive, stopping could be better. driving position is fine and comfortable, with reasonable leg room. interior wise it feels solid and although not overly exciting its fairly well laid out. boot space is less than previous models. in summary this as proved an excellent car for the daily commute to work.

Only had the car for 1 week so can't really comment on most things but I had a Fiesta previously and if it's as good as that I'll be very pleased
