Nice small car, decent sized boot and has some good modern features - keyless entry, push button starter, seat warmer, cruise control and automatic wipers and lights. Lots to like here. It has eco boost, is 1.0 cc but performs in higher gears more powerfully. First and second gears are much more problematic where it's a struggle to make meaningful progress without pushing hard on the gas pedal. Road holding and cornering are superb. Like other Fords I've owned, misting is a constant issue; however, the climate control system is fast & highly efficient. It's an okay car; a great car, it ain't.

I have had this car for about 12years and was the 2nd owner. I have felt this car was excellent value for money and has hardly every gone wrong apart from it has had 2 new batteries in the time I have had it. Everything else has been great and if the car still existed would definately buy another. It has done 106,000 miles so has been worth every penny I paid for it.

thirteen years old, 65k (genuine on the clock and never lets me down. The only trouble are the rusting body parts. Why can we not get a British made car with a rustproof body?

I have found it to be a comfortable ride with reasonable performance

We find this car entirely satisfactory for our needs although the running costs are slightly higher than we were led to expect. Although we have not had occasion to try it our we are concerned that there is no spare wheel - only a kit for getting to the nearest garage. As we often undertake fairly long journeys we foresee problems should we ever experience a puncture.

This is my second Ford Fiesta, bought on the basis of reliability, economic considerations, performance and overall comfort. This car is even better than my previous one. I would (and do) recommend this make and model to people when asked for my opinion. It performs well whether in the city or the country, and its flexibility ensures it does well on the motorways too.

Terrific little car to drive and cheap to run. When I bought the "econetic" model I did not realize how much I would miss having a good range of essential equipment such as an engine temperature gauge and a gauge for the external air temperature. Had a bit of trouble with the electric engine fan not cutting out when you stopped the engine. I have a 2 door model and find it annoying that when you access the back seat the front seat is on a slide but does not remember its original setting when put back.

Ford Fiestas I have found are nice and economical and are nifty without being huge cars. The are pretty economical on fuel and apart from wanting a slightly bigger boot the inside is spacious enough so that you are not sitting on top of one another and it is comfortable to go on long journeys i.e. to the seaside or travelling up the motorway etc. I have also found that the car is small enough to be able to park easily and it is relatively easy to obtain parts cost effectively to keep the car maintained.

The Ford Fiesta is an excellent car, I cannot fault it. Pound for pound the best car you can buy, extremely good value for money.

Only issue I've come across is the spongey brakes and the height of the biting point. apart from that the car is reliable and suitable for purpose. I do around 20k miles a year and the only thing needed was a change in battery. would recommend

Excellent in every way until you get to the first service, then they want £160 to service a car thats done 3000 miles. Rip off or what???

I use my can to travel 22 miles each way round the Edinburgh City Bypass to get to work. I find the car very reliable, in all weathers. Very easy to drive, very comfortable and fitted with all the requirements I want in a car. I have had various makes of cars over the past 40 tears of motoring and \I have found Ford to be the most reliable and the Fiesta has not changed my opinion.

The Fiesta is a fairly reliable smart-looking small car and it's served me pretty well over the years but I am beginning to have problems - to the point where I am beginning to expect to have to spend hundreds on repairs. I think the style is better than the substance and will probably try another make next time I buy a car.
