I have owned 2 Ford Focus from brand new. Have been extremely happy with both of them. Liked them since they were first put on the road. Find them extremely comfortable to drive. The only small complaint I have is that from my last model to this if the car is unlocked whilst driving so is the boot. No button inside the car to open the boot. The seat height adjuster was better on my first one than this one.

Can't fault it never let me down loads of room and cheap to run

Steering is a bit too lively, engine noise is much worse than comparable models and lacks many features other brands fit as standard (eg outdoor temp gauge and anti glare rear view mirrors).

Not too big..Not to small..Enough space for what I need..Enough power..Excellent fuel economy for an 04 reg car.. Very reliable..147000 miles on the clock and still on its original exhaust..No corrosion..Will be buying another nearly new Focus shortly.

a good all round work horse-looks ok for work,inter-city travel, even cleans up for funerals. The 1600cc engine can keep you ahead of heavy slower traffic and behind the boy racers and hence away from trouble.Good for 5th gear motorway.Easy on the pocket for routine maintenance and essential repairs Not green enough for the current climate

this is my fourth ford car the first being an escort mark 1 and the driving experience in my mind is second to none in this class of car I would recommend to any body to buy a ford focus.

FOCUS BRILLIANT ALL ROUNDER. FORD GOOD RELIABLE CARS. NEVER HAD A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH ESCORTS, CAPRI OR FOCUS FOR OVER 40YRS. FEW MINOR ONES WHICH WERE EASILY SORTED. HOPE TO HAVE A BRAND NEW, NEW SHAPE FOCUS IN A FEW YEARS.

I have owned this car for more than 11 years, over which period it has taken me to most parts of the U.K. without any serious hiccoughs. It still gives me around 35 mpg around town and about 40 mpg on long runs.I do drive considerately in order not to put undue stress on items like wheel-bearings, tyres, brakes, steering nor the engine but I don't hang around and the motor responds well to being well looked-after.

Excellent, family car, just getting a bit tired now at times, but very reliable.

This is the second Diesel Ford Focus I have owned. It is reliable, economical and very comfy. I am a Ford fan having owned Cortina, Sierra, Fiesta, KA over the years. There is no need for Ford to splash out on their advertising the quality of their products and reliability is all that is needed.

The Ford Focus is a very comfortable drive and it handles very well on winding roads. It also handles well in adverse weather conditions. The diesel engine is robust and reliable. This is a good car for long journeys with fuel costs about average and maintenance costs that I find affordable.

Great looks, great power & excellent handling. Just don't buy one if you don't want to become very friendly with the cashiers at the local petrol station. Average of around 22-23 mpg. However the noise & performance will put a smile on your face - albeit an expensive one. And don't get me started on the tuning options..........

Running costs are my main concern, for the type of driving I do the MPG is quite poor compared to other cars I have owned.

extremely satisfied. given a focus as a courtesy car and decided to replace my car, which was written off, with a focus. Only annoying features are- no way of unlocking boot except by central locking system when windscreen option selected for "blowing air" the air conditioning comes on automatically.

I have driven a wide variety of cars over 45 years, from Bentleys,Jaguars,Lancias,Volvos and Audis. As an older driver now I bought a 3-year old Focus in 2005 and it has been one of the most consistenly reliable cars I have ever used, if not the most exciting !

Bought the car as a "run-out" model, therefore received an excellent deal, including - cashback,0% APR, excellent part ex.,3 yrs free servicing, free paint protection. The whole deal was effectively a 30+% discount. Easy Peasy!
