This is a good city runabout car. But I don't like the shape of the car - the back seats go down but don't flatten out and are a bit sloped, so for transporting large items it is not great and the shape makes it inefficient for suitcases, boxes etc. I don't always feel it is a safe car for motorway driving - too small so I do feel vulnerable at times.

We were suprised how comfortable this car is and enjoy long and short journeys along with the 50 plus MPG

I like the simplicity of the decor and controls and the external design of my Ford KA, and use it mainly to commute to work, for which it is perfect being small and not using much petrol or requiring much space for parking. I like small affordable cars with character - I had a Citroen 2V before and like the look of the Fiat 500 for my next car.

I love my litle car. We go everywhere together. When it comes to carrying passengers, she's not very big and can't carry a lot of luggage. On long journeys, if I carry a flask, I find there is nowhere to put down my cup and pour out my drink, there are few level areas within the car to put my packup while I eat, especially if I have anyone else in the car with me. Her fuel consumption is good, economical to run, and the engine is very reliable - no trouble starting and such things. She's a real goer on the motorway - good acceleration and road holding, though being quite light she tends to get rocked by strong winds. Overall I love my little Ka and wouldn't be without her. Her name is Bluebell because she is blue and my little flower.

Cheap to run and reliable. Never had great trouble with it and it is easy to park, with a great turning circle. Love it.

It's good looking and it's fun to drive. There are rather a lot of knocks and rattles, but at 15 years old that's not surprising.

I love my little KA, It's easy to drive, park and has a very good turning circle. Despite it's small engine it's very nippy. Although it does not like very steep hills. It's cheap to run (only £30 road tax a year)and not bad fuel consumption.

Car has been excellent mechanically but the underside has rusted very badly, maybe sufficiently to fail future MOT. I have found it to be a nippy little runabout and have made a good many fairly long trips in it. Current mileage is circa 65,000.

I am the second owner of this Ford Ka and it has overall been a reliable little car. I have driven 75000 miles and it is still on the original exhaust!

I usually get nearly 45mph around town (trying to use a light right foot and low revs). Not exactly a long-distance cruiser but comfortable and acceptably quiet up to 70mph.

My Ford Ka is 15 years old and has never broken down or not started in the 6 years I have owned it. Used regularly in London traffic and also long journeys. For a small car is very capable on motorway. Fun to drive and minimal running costs. Have to watch out for rust with these though, especially on sills. Has some rust in this area but have managed to keep on top of it. Would have another newer one tommorrow, as long as very free of rust.

I love my ford Ka as it is perfect as a run around for a student although there is not enough space in the car for shopping and moving back and fourth to uni.

I am now on my third Ford KA - second of the new model. Initially I was not too keen on the new shape, but now that I'm used to it I love it. This will be the second winter with my current car and if it performs as last year then I will be happy. I have had no problems with reliability, find it very easy to park and not too expensive to run. You could say I'm very happy with my KA(r)!

Amazing little car - holds the road amazingly - packs a punch for a dinky little car, very stylish and performs well
