My Ford Mondeo is generally very reliable, spacious, including the boot and is fairly good with MPG.

Excellent car. Performance is more than enough, comfort and space very good, technology great (although addition of DAB radio as standard would be welcome) and reliability after 3 years is excellent.

This is my second MK2 V6 Ghia X Mondeo & they have both been absolutely superb motors,I love the looks, they are comfortable, handle well & go very well, many people are scared off believing that they are 'gas guzzlers' but this car easily returns 30mpg,wonderful cars to drive IMO

I find my Mondeo easy to drive and reliable except for parking when I find it a large car to fit into tight car parking spaces. As a golfer I find the size of the boot really good to fit in all my golf clubs, bags etc. I have been very pleased with Ford for both reliability and servicing and am now considering downsizing to the Ford focus as I don't need such a large car.

large car, very cheap to run. average 57mpg

A practical all-round vehicle. It can carry large items, including 3m long timber (goes in to the passenger foot-well)and has a huge weight carrying capacity. I tow a caravan with it and have no problem even on the steepest hills and motorways. I don't hold anyone up any more than an HGV would. It is economical to run for such a large vehicle. Well over 50mpg on long journeys (without caravan, then it's 30mpg). Road-holding is good for such a large vehicle and it's fun to drive. Easy gear change. Very responsive when the turbo kicks in at about 2000rpm, so it's a safe over-taker. It is a long vehicle and may not fit in some garages. The front tyres wear out very quickly due to the torque from the diesel and the weight on the front end. The passenger seat is a problem on a long journey for my wife, who has back problems. I have no problem in that respect. I have had no major problems in three years and 48,000 miles. Just had a "whining" idler pulley replaced at a cost of £77. I expect to have the first set of new brake pads(and probably disks)at the next service. I think that for me, in the process of renovating a 120-year old house and towing a caravan, it was a good choice. I'm retired and don't commute any more, but I don't see it as being a problem. If I was commuting I might think about a cheap, second-hand small vehicle as a second car, or use the bus (bus stop 150m away), depending upon where I was working and transport needs when at work. I don't intend to replace it for a long time yet.

Apart from some areas of the interior which are difficult to clean with a vacuum cleaner, I am fairly happy with the Mondeo. I would like an indication of exterior/road surface temperature

Ford Mondeo Titanium X, a great improvement on my last car a Skoda Octavia. The Skoda was a good machine and reliable but no where near as good as the Mondeo although the Skoda was more economical for the same size engine.

The Mondeo Titanium X Estate is comfortable, spacious, reasonably reliable and drives well. It is not the quietest of cars however. It is fairly economical to run but I have incurred quite considerable expense in replacing the low profile Continental tyres (the manufacturer fitted tyres) which suffer badly from side wall damage if the car runs over a significant pot hole. I find the keyless starting facility a bit irksome at times - if the starter button car is not pressed within a few minutes of the car being unlocked it is necessary to re-lock and unlock the doors in order to get the car to start. I would consider buying another Mondeo Estate when the time comes for replacement.

I bought the above car when it was eighteen month old and it has never once let me down,I have it serviced at regular intervals, spares very easy to find, cannot fault it.

it is comfortable to drive and be in, lots of space to carry goods in. Road tax is unfairly higher Fuel cost is high and so is the insurance. Insurance always goes up, even though I have high no claim bonus.

Brilliant all rounder, ample space for passengers and luggage brilliant economy and performance, really high equipment specification on the Titanium model really impressed will purchase another when this car is due to be changed!

The best car I've owned, this is my third Mondeo automatic and each newer model gets better. I normally change cars before they need an MOT, but I can't find one at the right price to make me consider changing this time and have just passed my first MOT in years. The combination of the 2 litre Ecoboost engine and Powershift transmission make this a comfortable car for cruising the motorway with good mpg, along with the fun of manual gear changes when the boy racer creeps in. The extras with the Titanium spec are excellent and well worth having.

A decent motorway cruiser that is comfortable yet responsive, and more agile than a big car should be. The downside is the high cost of replacing fuel injectors (every 60k miles, at around £2k) and the ludicrous dual-mass flywheel (every 50k miles, at around £1k), and the fact that Ford's in-house mechanics can't do competent repairs.
