A very comfortable car to drive, and has good features such as heated front screen, bluetooth. Difficult to park due to size Quite expensive to run due to size

I love mondeo's. I have had 2 so far and they are great, stand outside in all weathers and always start. They seem quite economical too. Lots of room for passengers and luggage.Very easy to use gearbox. Good all round visibility. I hate small rear windows.I would buy another but the later models are a bit larger so not sure if it would fit into our garage.

I found the Mondeo to be very good on fuel consumption, and so far reliable.

An expensive car to run with the big engine meaning high fuel bills, and the overall setup is not as optimised as it could be to make the most of the performance available. Particularly the gear ratios are a bit odd for this engine. The car is 6 years old now, and 100,000 miles. Difficult to know what to score the reliability as the car has been fine generally and serviced by Ford, but it has failed and needs a complete new engine. 100,000 miles should be barely just run in for a modern car, especially the big engine just doing motorway cruising. On the up-side Ford are replacing the whole engine and any consequential damage under warranty, so that is fair. Extremely comfortable, four tall passengers on long journeys, and very relaxing to drive, and a massive boot gets everything in that you want. Fantastic equipment level and lots of toys built in. The boot design drips water from the hatch into the boot when it is wet, but I think they have resolved that on the new car now. It should probably have been optimised during pre-launch testing, and the change put in place first, rather than relying on the first batch of purchasers to close out the product development. A nice package that just needs a little optimisation in places.

I love my Mondeo. It takes my son (and all his gear) to university, tows my caravan to holiday destinations and my trailer to the dump, commutes me beautifully along the M25, and is economical and extremely comfortable. The only issue I have with it is a fierce clutch. I have been driving for 40 years, have a Corsa too which never gives me any problems, but the clutch on the Mondeo is so fierce I regularly stall :-( However - it's lovely :-)

I have had several cars and Fords are always my favourites, they are economical, comfortable and reliable, my next car would always be a Ford.

This car is a comfortable, spacious car, which is relaxing to drive. For its size, it is economical; on a recent holiday trip to Scotland, it averaged 56.5 m.p.g., travelling at the legal limit with two persons and two heavy suitcases. My only real complaint is with the "bumpers", so-called, made of thin cheap quality plastic, which cracks like an eggshell when bumped even slightly.

Excellent family car, good mpg overall approx averaging 46. Plenty of leg room in the back more than enough for an adult and fidgety kids Ample luggage space for holidays and for carrying large objects. Drive all day at 70mph especially good for motorway driving Probably no good for Jeremy Clarkson but excellent for families

Does everything we need Good reliability, performance, carrying capacity, economy. Only problem is we can't use bike carriers on the rear end. Roof carriers (so we are told) only.

excellent car for all round performance and reliability. Expensive to maintain - servicing and tyres are expensive. Good for carting grandchildren and adults around with a huge boot.
