There is enough room in the car for three adults and two bikes. I get an average of 450 miles per tank from this car. It handles better in snow than other cars I have driven.

My little Honda serves me well, always reliable, plenty of room for my 2 collies in the rear compartment. There is a comfy driving position with the seat being very adjustable.

Have had the car for only two months. It tells the driver everything you need to know! Seatbelts fastened, car locked, etc. Am delighted with it!

I have owned this car for over six years and it has never given me any reason to regret buying it. Whatever the weather it starts first time and apart from tyres, wipers etc I've only needed to buy a new battery. Only one slight drawback is the demisting system could be better. Perhaps a quick clear screen a la Ford.

I purchased my car new in June this year and am very pleased with it so far. It is very economical compared to my Civic which I traded in and was a petrol engine. The only things I find could be improved on are. the computer display on the dash is very hard to see if you have your lights on in the daytime. The green light telling you when to change gear could be higher up say in the speedo area as it is difficult to see when driving as it is a bit low down. Overall I am very pleased with the car and would highly recommend it.

I own a civic type R and I LOVE this car - soooo easy to drive, goes exactly where you steer it, very responsive, STICKS to the road like glue, light to handle, excellent sized boot, good space in the back, very comfortable, sounds great and looks fab, just have to own up though that petrol consumption isn't great, but that's probably due to the driver! Insurance is reasonable and road tax is as expected for this type of car. I am really struggling to find a replacement car that is as much fun with the same spec and fun at a reasonable price.

Economical, fast. Had every intention of buying an Audi A3 but test drove the civic first and was so impressed that I didn't even get to look at the A3 that I'd also gone to see. Never had any expensive, flash cars but this is the best car I have driven.

I love my Honda. I love its sleek looks, its vibrant red colour, the growl of its engine and, most of all, its quick and powerful response when I put my foot down. Any criticisms? Well, the fuel consumption figures are nowhere near as good as the publicity materials implied, and it has one of those stupid little wheels for 'getting you to the next garage', wherever that might be, instead of a decent spare wheel. Anything else? Sometimes I find my driving style bears some similarity to Jeremy Clarkson when he's late for the office... ...but can I blame the car for that.......... it's just such fun!

I can find very little fault with my new diesel Civic. It has a number of eco-friendly features but has power when needed and is a pleasure to drive. I regularly do trips of between 100-200 miles and easily get 70+ mph (80 if I'm very careful!) - not quite so economical on short trips but still 60+ mph. It is not quite as comfortable as my husband's Citroen C5 but not far off. I think my main criticism is that the upholstery shows every speck of dust and dirt.

Have not renewed my car because this model is no longer manufactured.

Honda civic best car have ever owned, (among at least 70!) Only fault is poor rear vision but one gets used to using wing mirrors properly

A very good running car. Powerful when needed, and comfortable to drive, especially on long distance trips which I do a lot of. All that I have spent on it in the three years that I have had it, is on replacement brake pads and a pair of tyres. It is a very secure car to drive, and I put total trust in its handling and safety. A joy to drive. W.S. Johnston.

Super roomy hatch with flexible interior, best used for long trips when diesel economy proves its worth. i.e. 60 mpg. Experience marred by need for expensive clutch repair at 50k miles. ( why the stupid rubber damped flywheel?)
