I'm fairly satisfied with my Renault - it is a very basic Clio, but it does annoy me that I have to wind the front windows up and down as they're not electric.

My car is seven years old and is my third Clio. I find the car comfortable, reliable, not too thirsty and a pleasure to drive. I love my wee car.

Always wanted one when i was younger. Circumstances in life changed about 4 years ago and have been really pleased with the reliability of my 10year old Clio.

I have owned my T reg Clio for over 11 years and it has been the best car I've ever had. I know Renaults are sometimes looked down upon for having dodgey electrics, but this car really has been great. There is a tiny patch of rust on the driver's side door, but other than that the bodywork is excellent. This car has given me very little grief over the past 11 years and I am proud of it. So people who mock these cars and then get into their conked out Alfa Romeo's can read this and weep!

I have owned several Renault Clios. I have never found the heater satisfactory or efficient. This has led me to decide to buy another make when I next change my car.

got this car second hand roughly 3 years ago and have had very little go wrong with it, running costs have increased as petrol has increased but as long as you stay at a reasonable speed consumption stay steady.

This is the first diesel engined car that I have owned and I find it amazingly economical, quiet and spacious.

Ideal for both short and long journeys and a pleasure to drive.

Unreliable, uncomfortable, basic. Not even a centre console. Broken down twice in 6 months, engine management does need not let me start car after it cuts out, electrical gremlins that cannot seem to be fixed. Bumpy hard suspension. Worst car I have driven out to 12

My Clio is a VERY reliable car and is very comfortable for both driver & passenger. Unfortunately, they don't make this style of car anymore so I intend keeping it as long as possible.

Performance suits me; running costs I can afford; lacks comfort, especially for front seat passenger due to rather pointless faux bucket-type seats - difficult to get out of, even for young passengers. Reliability - so far so good, thanks to regular servicing at excellent Renault dealer. Space and practicality - suits my lifestyle.

The car has generally been reliable, and runs well. The engine computer diagnostic has never worked very well, but this has not affected the running of the car. The headlamp bulbs are very difficult to change. The trim keeps coming off from the boot.

Tidy nippy wee car to run. Plenty room inside. Only downside is it has radio/cassette in it instead of CD player. Cassettes went out way before this car was put on the road for the first time so don't understand why this is. Other than that everything grand with this car

Bought it last year, to replace a 7year old petrol Vauxhall agila, and it has proved to be good for my use including volunteer transport for a community group attached to my church. I can get a folded wheelchair and walking frame in. On Holiday will cruise the french road returning nearly 70mpg, in holiday mode, cruise contol being useful there, in this country the speed limiter is most used as dorset police seem to be paranoid over speeding! I can carry my 5" gauge steam locos in the boot and when towing my 4" traction engine on its trailer will maintain speed limit. The vehicle has had no problem apart from a leaking door seel which was eventually traced, fixed by the main agent. Overall I am pleased with the reliability, and its satnav. My wife finds the ride comfortable the seats are OK

Easy to drive, comfy and very reliable, only bad thing I've found is lack of space for kids whilst sitting on booster seats! Fuel consumption is fab

For such a small car, its road-holding and reliability are outstanding, making long-distance driving enjoyable and safe. Acceleration is not its strongest point, but it travels smoothly and well at 70 mph. With its quite roomy boot and the ease of folding the back seat forward to make more room, it is a generally pleasant and convenient all-purpose vehicle. Servicing is not too expensive, and there are plenty of Renault garages, both in Britain and in continental Europe.

Clio Mk 2 a good family run about. Same could be said for Mk 3. Latest version like many new cars is too large. Presumably this is due to larger commercial vehicles making visibility difficult. Problem with most new small cars is the limited boot capacity.

Renault has revolutionised it's Clio range. Stylish and elegant, sporty, yet frugal, plus full of high spec. gadgets, but with the one moan of NO CD PLAYER!. The new Clio is certainly a step up in class from it's predecessor, which has now become a Dacia, which still has a CD player!!.

I have had the car for 10 months and travelled approximately 9,000 miles. I am very pleased with the car both in terms of performance and economy. The best mpg I have managed on one journey is 73. The overall average is 64. The only aspect of the car that I can find fault with is the position of the interior door handles, which are too near the front of the door. Other than that 10 out of 10.

My Clio does over 50 mpg regardless of town or country driving. Road Tax is £20 per annum. The ride is quite firm as are most compact cars. Low profile tyres, sports suspension and high top speeds are not necessary as most cars are driven on public roads where the limit is 70 mph.
