Have had the car over 2 years, cost me the same to repair past two years of the price I paid for it if not more, but overall good car, I do alot of mileage and does me around 37-40mpg around town and on A roads. Ideal for growing family, kids can easily walk around at the back when getting in, boot space good, driving position good, engine lacks power that's the main problem for a 1.4 16v.

I have been pleased with the new Scenic. Although the mpg is not as good as I was led to expect from the manufacturer's information, it is still cheaper to run than my previous car - a 1999 petrol Scenic.

I purchased this car which was the demo car at the local garage. I felt that I made a good deal when part exchanging my old car, and even received a car with a better spec, than the one that I had tested!! The car has been very reliable, no problems at all. Although it is not the quickest car, it has very good fuel consumption, usually 50mpg on a run, and 40-45 with mixed driving. The car is very comfortable, and has excellent entry and exit due to the higher position of the seats. For a medium size car, it is very roomy (my passengers tell me), and has numerous places within the car for storage.

Great little car when working. Plent of space, comfortable, and feels futuristic (keyless, push start, automatic brake, automatic lights, automatic wipers etc etc). Pretty good economy on the small diesel engine too. Only issues being if it breaks down...... Electrical issues cause costly repair trying to determine where the wiring is playing up. Difficulties even towing for example (electronic handbrake means electronic issues cause you unable to release it). Etc. As mentioned thus, when running it's great - spacious, comfortable, economical. But when something goes wrong, there's no cheap fix to resolve due to complexity of electrics!

Renault Scenic does its job well, carrying 3 adults, luggage, shopping and bikes over fairly short mainly rural journeys.

I'm very happy most of the time with my Scenic. It's performance is excellent and fuel consumption pretty good. It's been reliable after some initial serious faults were rectified - the only more recent serious problem was from dirty diesel from a certain supermarket chain, though they did eventually own up and pay up for the garage bills. At 6 years old the car has a few rattles, but not sufficient to make me change it yet. It's done 85,000 miles and certainly looks good to go over 100,000 before I change it.

Not a bad car, great for the family as nice and spacious. Nice driving position and easy to get children in and out of child seats with the high positioning. Plenty of storage hideaways. Back seats come out so ideal if you need to transport anything. Not good in the snow as feels a bit heavy and it I have been stuck a few times. I have experienced all the usual electrical problems associated with this model, dashboard failure and window mechanism breaking.

Whilst I am aware that not all reviews of this car have been good my own experience has been very good. My car is now over three years old.

Quite happy with the present car, but have recently lost my wife and no longer need a big car so will be downsizing to a smallewr model.

This is the 3rd scenic i have had and love the space inside. Can either take out the back seats or just drop them and can get three people plus our fishing gear in quite comfortably. I have to drive from Sheffield to Scotland quite often and the journey is pleasant because of the comfortable seating.

It generally does what is says on the can! Reliable (at present) pretty economic, it gets me to work daily, a round trip of 70 miles. Close parking is sometimes an issue, as vision over and around the bonnet is limited and is difficult to accurately judge (a design fault I feel) so one has to be extra cautious when maneuvering in a congested area.

This car has got good all round visibility and plenty of luggage space but there are down sides. the peddles are too close together, ideal for people with small feet and the car is under powered it also revs very high and is annoying on long motorway journeys with the engine screaming all the time. had mondeo before and will go back to mondeo next.

I am very satisfied with my car. Fuel consumption is very good - 60 - 65mpg. Very versatile, seats can be rmoved very easily to transport heavy or bulky items - have used it as such on many occasions. The car has only let me down once and that was the woodruff key for the alternator sheared wrecking the engine- Renault finally agreed to pay 50% towards thr cost of the new engine.

We bought this car because it is much easier for older or less mobile people to get into and out of the seats. we also like being higher up off the road, and can see a bit more of the scenery. We like all the storage space too.

Been very pleased with car ( apart from slight wind noise on occasions)since purchasing it. First diesel I have bought and find it both quiet and economical.

THE TAX IS TOO HIGH, THE PERFORMANCE NOT GOOD, THE FUEL CONSUMPTION DISGUSTING, 28MILES TO THE GALLON ON A LONG TRIP 24 AROUND TOWN.

The only fault with the Renault scenic is the front window post sometimes obscure vision. Otherwise it is spacious, eminently practical with many small load spaces. It is comfortable with acceptable running costs.

A real fan. One of the best cars I have owned. Really annoying that the center consul/armrest is not a standard fitment in all range. A £500+ extra is a serious ripoff. This is the second model I have had and both have suffered problems with the wipers. Motor failed in the first and is noisy and not as efficient as you might like at clearing the screen.

I find the performance a bit stunted, but the space is good very roomy and a good boot. But having just spent £1000 on it to keep going find that reliability is not great. But a very comfortable car considering I'm over 6'.
