Always had VW cars . At present a Passat Estate and an Eos. Not to be faulted: good reliability: good performance: super service from garage: would only change to other VWs.

electronic handbrakes should be banned on all vehicles ,or at least have a override position in case of failure. mine locked on in the gateway to my home blocking the drive and the other vehicles there for three days

This is the 4th Passatt I have driven,the first I have owned having retired,as I was purchasing for the first time in 40 years having driven company cars before that I went for the CC. It's the best car I've ever driven for comfort,speed,quietness and economy

It's goes well, does lots to the gallon (diesel), is reliable and not expensive to run. Estate is enormous and only issue for me is a little difficulty getting my head into the car (not for the reason you are thinking !) but because I have a long body and short legs (6'1").

Plenty of room for 4 people in comfort. Excellent diesel consumption. Performance good enough for the age of the drivers but not great acceleration. Very pleased with the purchase.

Best car ever. Feels solid and safe. Good road holding and excellent economy.

Its a good car, not exciting but reliable

Have owned this for 5 years. No problems. Spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Boot space good, but access a little restricted (although I did have an estate car before!). Diesel gives good economy, especially on long runs, less so around town. Very good acceleration when needed.

A comfortable reliable car. Drives well in snow and ice. Plenty of room in the car and boot area. Seats are comfortable but are of a poor cloth type covering. Reasonable fuel consumption if driven properly using all the AA tricks. A good car but not that sexy

a very useful car but the headlights are terrible. I particulary like the huge boot space.

Big, comfortable and easy to drive but I would prefer a Jetta.

I have owned my present car for a little over a year and it is the first diesel I have owned. I wouldn't have anything else now. It is reliable, economic and powerful enough for my needs.
