Has been reliable, seems a bit under powered but think the newer models have improved. Adequate for commuting and occasional longer journey.

Not had a small car in years. But with parking and running costs went for the Fiesta. Great little car. Good room inside for a small car, even for a 6 footer like me. Nice layout on the dash, all clear and easy to use. Good all round view and simple to park, even in tight spaces. Love the shape. Smart, modern and practicle. Running costs are very good. Tax and insurance low cost and fuel usage very good. Saving now for the new eco Fiesta.

All round great little car for what it is. Performance surprisingly peppy for 95 bhp diesel engine. Running costs low at £20 a year for road tax and very economical to run, although struggling to achieve the manufacturers claimed average consumption of 67 mpg, currently achieving just over 51 mpg under normal driving conditions according the fuel computer. Though this is gradually increasing and will probably increase further as the engine "runs in". Very comfortable and supportive seats, though ride feels quite firm on the sports suspension and 16" Alloy wheels of this particular model. Cabin is light and airy, some interior plastics feel a bit cheap and overall build quality not quite up to the standard of say, VW/Audi group cars but still a big improvement on Fords of 10 to 20 years ago. Decent Radio/CD/USB system and general good level of standard kit on this model including aircon, excellent quick-clear windscreen, rear parking sensors & electric folding mirrors. All in all well worth a punt if you're after a small & economical runabout.

New car in Oct. Happy with the way it runs. Quite comfortable. Haven't used back seats yet. Have only filled the tank twice in a month. Mpg seems a lot lower than suggested eg approx 42 mpg rather than 50ish mpg. Quite powerful - seems to have more oomph than it's cc suggest. Like the emergency phone system. Not so keen on dashboard layout _ find it more difficult to use than previous car (Fiat 500). Generally quite happy.Plenty of room inside. Boot reasonable size.

I have always had Ford Fiestas since I started driving in 1981 and have always found them to be practical, extremely reliable and, compared with many other cars, quite reasonable to run.

I purchased a 3 yr old Ford Fiesta and have had several large repair bills, but the car is a pleasure to drive, and if possible (or if I could afford!) I would buy another. In fact, as my current car is just starting to present a few problems, I would hope that Father Christmas would think of me this year!

The car is quite responsive engine wise, find the seating could be more comfortable on long journeys,my previous Nissan had more seat adjustments mainly back support,no arm rests front or back, MPG is reasonable, wish the back seats would drop more flatter when using boot for carrying loads, otherwise quite happy and will buy another.

A small car but adequate for 2 physically small pensioners. reasonably comfortable and gives 41mpg on 13000 miles per annum. I now wouldn't be without Bluetooth or cruise control.

We have owned the Fiesta two years. Bought specifically to be cheap to buy, insure, tax, and economical in all ways. With reasonable comfort, ABS brakes, electric windows and air conditioning. The drivers seat adjusts enough. We have been pleasantly surprised how we are not tired/uncomfortable even on long jouneys in it, and the fuel consumption is about 55 - 60 mpg. And so far totally reliable. It is small (easy to park on street)but the rear seats do not fold down very flat for fitting in sizeable items. And it's not particularly fast, well it can be driven fast but the fuel consumption drops a lot, and speed was not a requirement in our choice of car. Though I still managed to get a speeding ticket. Ford could have done a better design job on the controls and dashboard, but they do the job. The lights switch is almost agricultural. Overall we are happy with it.

I only work 5 miles from home. When my old, worn out, '98 Ford Escort finally bit the dust I didn't need a similarly large engine (1.8) that had served me well during my last job 43 miles away in any replacement I might choose. I needed economy. I needed reliability. I needed affordability. I needed availability. I found all that in my little 3-door fiesta. With its 1.25 engine it was slightly better than the previous 1.1 fiesta I had as my very first car. It was also the same 3-door compact style I'd been used to so I knew what expect and I got it. It's a great little runaround. I get more than 365 miles for a full tank of petrol, and when the price was at around 1.28 it only costs about £60 to fill her up. It meets my needs perfectly and I can't ask for anything more. I've not had any mechanical problems in the two years I've owned her so I've no complaints at all.

My ford fiesta is a small, aging car. Because the car has a small engine and is diesel it takes some time to warm up thus is quite "lumpy" for the first two or three miles. The car is labour intensive to drive needing a lot of work to get into the right gears. However, on the plus side the Fiesta is very economical on fuel i.e a full tank costing approximately £36.00 will last at least two weeks and the tax is only £30.00 per year. This little car in extremely reliable even in below zero temperatures the engine will fire first time. I have been approached by a friend who will buy the car from me should I consider selling it! This car is a little cracker.

I bought this car second hand in 2006. Since then it has run well with no faults and only routine servicing. Performance is adequate but not exciting, but fuel economy is excellent. It is a basic version of the Fiesta, with no turbo, aircon, electric windows or mirrors or Bluetooth or remote locking, so there is not much to go wrong. It has been 100% reliable, and the only problem I have had was a dead battery, but that was not the car's fault.

My Ford Fiesta is now 10 years old and has done 128,000 miles. Apart from a new clutch last year I have not had any problems with it. I would definitely think about another Fiesta when I have to replace it.

My car has been solid and reliable if a little lacking in power which would be useful at times. I bought a small hatchback as I thought it would be economical to drive, however after seeing friends cars with more efficient larger engines getting better mileage than my small car it has made me re-think. Also I have to pay £120 in car tax while they pay nothing, so when I change my car I will consider a car with a larger but more economical engine.

An all round decent performer but a little heavy on fuel if used regularly on motorways. Comfortable on all but the very long journeys (over 300 miles). Smaller engine a bit under powered with more than one in the car. Space fine unless you're camping or holidaying with more than one, in which case you would use something bigger. Very reliable (5 years with no undue expenditure except renewables such as tyres). Have bought Fiestas before, own one now and will buy another.

The Fiesta I have is a little on the small side now that I have two grandchildren. The baby seat when in reverse position does not sit well on the rear seat. It is also a squash to get most buggies in the boot especially with shopping. It is also impossible to accommodate a wheel chair without folding one of the rear seats. However when there is just me and shopping there is ample room. On short journeys I have mostly felt comfortable but on long journeys I always seem to get aching legs. It performs very well even when fully loaded and the fuel consumption seems to be in the 40s whenever I've checked it although I believe it should be higher. It hasn't actually broken down but there was a fault on the steering which had to be fixed at about 18 months old. I do seem to have more trouble parking this straight in a bay than any of the much larger cars I have had.

I like my car a lot - it's quiet and economical - just not as economical as expected from the MPG advertised. I get approx. 64mpg while it was 77ish in the book. Aside from this disappointment, the car is exactly as I expected and I'm happy with it's value & performance to date.

This car has all the performance I need. The running costs are good for my income. It is comfortable enough but I would not want to sleep in it overnight! It has never broken down. It has all the space and practicality I need, speaking as a bachelor.

Great car so far, very reliable with a great radio/cd player. USB port is very handy for playing music from a pen drive. Comfortable seats and reasonable visibility all round. Car handles well with responsive brakes. Cup holders could be deeper or a bit farther from the gear stick. Not so pleased with the lack of a spare wheel or even space saver. The foam compressor kit is useless. Car struggles on steep hills and at slow speeds can be a bit jerky. Quick clear windscreen is great. After 14 months, 15,000 miles travelled, average fuel consumption is 45 mpg. Overall a great car but would buy with more powerful engine and diesel.

My car is very reliable and I have very few issues with it. It is comfy and the heater is great on cold winter mornings! It is a doddle to park and cheap to run. I find I get on average 400 miles a month on £90.00 on petrol.
