Very pleased with this car, very comfortable and is proving more economical than real mpg test suggested. Currently averaging 55MPG. Swapped from a BMW 318d ES Tourer, as I wanted a car which is easier to get in and out of. The focus is much better on this front and is great to drive. It's nearly as dynamic as the BMW, but not quite and needs a higher geared steering rack to make it better to drive on country roads. In the cabin the focus is much more driver and passenger friendly than the BMW. Performance wise the Focus is adequate and does lack the extra HP that the BMW had. In normal driving this is not a problem. Overall this car is great package. So unless you want the dynamic crispness of the BMW handling, the Focus is a nicer family car especially given the top spec of this model.

I bought my Ford focus in 2010 when it was 3 years old. It has given me no problems at all, it's a comfortable ride and very roomy. ONly negative is the running cost, which is quite high.

Perfomance and running costs are superb I get an average of 48 mils to the gallon using maily short journeys. The car is comfortable and has ample boot room especialfor my golf clubs. it is a good starter in the cold weather and has never let me down.

I am very happy with my Focus. It is the second new one I have owned. The only down side are the boot doesn't lock even if the car is open, you have to lock the full car to lock the boot even if you only unlock the boot and the seat adjuster is not as good as my last one.

Performance is good Running costs average to good Very comfortable for size of car Has been very reliable so far and would depend on how well the owner looks after the vehicle. Excellent space capacity for my needs i have enjoyed owning this car and would recommend it to anyone who needs to carry family and luggage for up to 4 people.

Drive both in UK and on continent regularly. This is a suitable compromise between comfort, costs and suitable for my wife and myself to drive.

A good solid family car, that provides good standards of comfort and performance . It's a FORD -that says it all.

I bought my focus after having Vauxhalls and Nissans And I can honestly say that my focus has been completely reliable and economic. If i had to replace my Focus for any reason I would certainly look at the Focus first before any other car.

,,or any Ford really. My Ford Focus is a smashing car to drive especially on motorway runs. It is the "style" version and is great for heavy shopping, visits to the local tip in one go usually. Reliable and has the bonus of the quick windscreen clear system which is real bonus during November & December especially. Saying that though, when I retire, I'll get a Fiesta to replace it.

I have had a couple of Ford Focus , after many years of having Mondeao's , on instructions from my wife , always asking why I needed a large car I decided to change to a focus and have been pleased with my cars , the boot was larger than I expected , is reliable which is important , insurance ok but was pleased at the car tax rate , taxed it for 12 months never done that with any car . now considering changing this one for another Focus .

turbo power gives good performance but little used except for motorway driving. driving costs are within my pension budget but at the expense of other items. however servicing costs always hit hard.

Good performance especially around town.good pick-up speed and overtaking is easy.fuel consumption acceptable.no issues regarding mechanical failures or breakdowns.MOT usually fine, with little replacements required.comfortable to travel in, and spacious for all passengers.the boot is very spacious. It is a stylish car that has maintained it's modern design qualities against newer models.i would happily take this car on an European driving holiday.insurance costs very economical.
