An unremarkable car in almost every aspect. I really don't like the heater and a/c controls - electric push button things with an LCD display rather than knobs that can be rotated into position and instantly comprehended.

I only have 2 criticisms of my car 1) The drivers seat squab is too narrow between the side bolsters which are too firm. I have had to make a special cushion to make the seat comfortable. (I am not fat nor overweight) 2) The design of the rear hatch meens that if it is wet through raining and the hatch is open water drips from the sides of the hatch into the boot. My next purchase will be an estate car to overcome this problem

I find this car to be very reliable and comfortable to use. Unfortunately it is expensive to have it repaired and insured and the road tax. Petrol consumption is high too.

reasonably reliable car, could be more comfortable. fuel consumption is reasonable but could be better for a diesel. (50 to 55 mpg.)

Cost me £200 3 years ago and has proved to be an absolute bargain. Been very dependable and does what I need it to do.

Reliable car. Ample stowibg space for loads of luggage. Shame diesel is so expensive when its cheaper to produce but this car does around 55 mpg for me.Ford cars are very reliable, I have gone through the set, Mk3 Cortina, Mk4 Cortina, All Sierra models and all new versions of Mondeo up to purchase of this car in 2010.

I vowed for years in business that I would never buy another Ford wnen I retired ;that was 17 years ago .In 2009 I was attracted to a Mondeo in a local garage showroom and was smitten.I have driven it now for 4 years and am still deighted with every aspect of the car.

Overall, I am satisfied with my car. However when it was serviced on 6 November, I was extremely disappointed to be told that the front discs were corroded. The car is less than two years old and has done less than 12,000 miles. I reported this to Ford Customer Care and was told this was normal. Given that this problem has only arisen since it was previously serviced in November 2011, the corrosion has occurred in a year and over 5,000 miles. So, if you have Mondeo and do 5,000 miles in a year, you can expect your front discs to corrode according to Ford.

On the whole reliable, spacious and comfortable. does not particularly consume more petrol than cars with smaller engines I have owned, no noticeable difference.

I have had my Mondeo from new and it has been very reliable and very comfortable. It is now 10 and a half years old and a few things have needed replacing, but that is to be expected in a car this age.

We have had the car, which replaced a similar petrol model, for 6 years and it has now done over 120,000 miles. Having had three children we always had estate cars for all the bodies and luggage we needed to carry and decided to continue with the increased capacity when they left home. Their place has now been taken by grandchildren so we are back to needing room for 2 child seats and a buggy. It is comfortable and spacious for every day and holiday use. It has taken us all over France loaded with camping gear and makes regular trips to the local tip and our holiday home in Devon. We spent quite a lot on repairs due to wear and tear a couple of years ago, knowing that a replacement newer model would cost even more and might need the same outlay at a later date. The diesel engine is more economical than the petrol and although a newer model might be even more so we are happy with the overall performance. One day it will die of old age, but until then we will continue to enjoy its comfort and reliability.

The only down side to my car is that the original owner selected 18" wheels with low profile tyres. Whilst I appreciate this does improve the habndling it does not help with the comfort on the poor quality roads in the rural area I live. Otherwise exceptionally pleased with the car in all aspects

Great car economical and fast. Would highly recommend for a family. Parts are reasonably priced. Tax not too high and insurance OK. Satnav rubbish.

I have owned this vehicle from new. It is now 15 years old and gets regular servicing and preventive maintenance whenever needed. It has been 100% reliable and will continue to be so as long as I own it. It will only be changed if it fails the MoT on an aspect such as burning excess oil (it currently uses no oil)or if it starts to suffer the ravages of the salty Cornish atmosphere. The vehicle runs like a new one and is unbelievably smooth and quiet for its age.It is the best car I have ever owned and is a pleasure to drive. Should it ever need replacing it will be with the same type and make,as I am extremely happy and satisfied with it. Well done Ford.

have had my car for a few years now at first had to replace the mass fly wheel, then had some expensive electrical problems with one of the wiring looms had to have it bypassed. know the cold start system is going wrong and it looks like that is an expensive job to have done as well..I like the car, it is very comfortable on long and short journeys ,it is well equipped and still looks good .and above all it still drives and handles well.

This is my third Mondeo automatic, and the best so far. I have been unable to find anything to replace it, this is the first car I've kept long enough to need an MOT in the Last 15 years. This 2.0L powershift with ecoboost Titanium is powerful, comfortable, and reasonably economical for its size.
