This is my second Fabia and i would not buy anything else, it is a quality, well built put together car. It has the biggest boot in it's class and the seats are more comfy than my old X5. Very economical and easy to drive.

Although I do not do many miles per year (<8000), I do monitor fuel consumption. When I first go the car (2nd hand) I got 56mpg. Five years later I can get 61mpg (on an annual basis). The car has not let me down (so far) despite being left outside for weeks on end, without being driven. Being a relatively small car it is susceptible to cross winds, and fuel consumption rises by 10% when driving against headwinds. The car is very comfortable during long journeys. I do like the cruise control, but it is less efficient than manual driving.

One of the VERY few cars under 189cm (including mirrors) so it will fit in my garage. A small car with a large carrying space which fits my lifestyle. Takes motorways comfortably in its stride and squeezes neatly down country lanes.

I love my little car! She is comfortable, with a high seat which is perfect for my back, which is a bit dodgy. The running costs are good, in comparison with other cars. The brakes are brilliant and she is quiet.

The Fabia 1.2TSI is a good compromise between:- fuel cost efficiency power space cost weight Like it very much, I think that I chose well

With only 60000 on the clock I have had 2 failures of door locks and have lost the synchromesh on second gear (£1000 ! if done). Its not as reliable as my previous skoda fabia

I am about to change my car but so far my Skoda has served me very well and I have been very satisfied with it. Until recently I have spent very little on repairs, just regular services,

Used as a second car, a cheap method for running to and from work with low insurance group and tax bracket. Good on fuel. Car is a bit basic but well built. Had from new and had no problems whatsoever Would recommend as a cheap, reliable car

Great car. My 3rd Skoda. Excellent service always though getting more expensive Thee are newer models cheaper to run, and I would like to change but cannot currently afford to do so

I had not owned a car for several years - only hiring when required - and put the required specification into a search engine and the Skoda Fabia was the result. I purchased it from a main dealer and have been very satisfied generally with its performance. I think the gear box is the best I have ever had in any car I have driven. I tend to use the engine to control the speed etc of the vehicle rather than continually using the brakes. Two minor criticisms: The tyres seem to wear rather quickly, possibly, because of the tight turning circle. In high summer around midday there is reflection off the fascia board which contains the instrument panel and makes them impossible to read.

The best car I have ever owned since 1966. 12 years old but still drives like new. Average 55mpg over 97000 miles. Huge load carrying capacity for a car that is based on a Polo chassis. Engine still perfect - uses no oil between services. Apart from tyres and one battery change, the only problems have been a power steering rate sensor and an A/C temperature sensor.

Never had any problems with this car. Servicing costs are great and MPG is very good. For a small engined car it is quite nippy. Good ventilation and a spacious boot.

This car fits my needs and is eco friendly on its first MOT it recorded nil emissions. Service from the local Skoda agent is very good and they will collect and deliver my car when serviced. Overall "NO PROBLEMS"

Great 'super mini' estate car which is enjoyable to drive, most reliable and economocal to maintain. Now that fuel costs have risen I wish it had a bit better mpg ! I get just under 40mpg around town and up 50 on longer, 50-60mph runs. It is comfortable - folks are surprised how good a ride they get, front or back. Good little workhorse too; we can carry my wife's eletric mobility scooter (it comes apart for transportation)in the boot, fill the back seat with suitcases etc and easily travel at the speed limit on all types of roads, including motorways. Fold back seats down - or take them out - and you have a great space for carry stuff to the tip, fetching DIY materials and so on. Interior is smart, front seats and steering column adjustable, heating and aircon work well. Power steering really good, brakes excellent. A great motor, real value for money. I was a passenger recently in a much newer Ford Focus was like riding in a van compared with my Fabia. Simply worlds apart. Would I recommend it - definately yes. Would I buy a Skoda again? Oh yes!

I chose the Skoda Fabia on the recommendation of a friend. The car, which now has 100 000 miles on the clock has been reliable (it did not require repairs for this year's MOT) economical (it uses a pound's worth of diesel for 10 miles in an urban setting) and comfortable (although some passengers have complained about the seats being hard). It was the largest car in its class at the time of purchase, has a very competitive price with good residuals and is a very good looking car. The current version is less handsome. I would want a good reason not to replace it with another Fabia.

I have owned this car from new. It is reliable and roomy enough for my needs. It has a reasonable towing capacity and the power to do this. Economy is good for the use I make of it and running costs are reasonable.

This vehicle is the second Fabia purchased. It is completely to my satisfaction in all departments.

Reasonable to run and very realiable. A little noisy as it's a diesel but cheap to tax and gets great mpg. I have the 1.9 SDI so it can be a little sluggish pulling away, but once it gets going it's great on the motorway etc. I bought this second hand 3.5 years ago. It's now done 79,000 miles and had no problems so far.

A practical solid petrol vehicle that is capable of 60mpg if driven carefully

The Fabia is roomy, comfortable, easy to drive and I love it and will probably change my current Fabia for a new one when I need to replace it. Would recommend it to anyone, it makes me happy to drive it.
