Very good fuel 55mpg only problem that I find is the windscreen wiper leaves a mark on the screen in front of the driver. A modification to do a full sweep would solve the problem otherwise no complaints.

Had two Clio's before - not a lot to choose between the two cars, the Clio had the timing belt problem and my first Clio was one that suffered badly with leaking sunroof.

We have had 5 Vauxhalls over the years, 2x Corsas, 1x Nova, 1x Belmont, 1x Cavalier and I love them!

Performs well, reasonably good value for money, no problems with reliability yet (but it was new in March 2013), has space for all my luggage and the kit I need for work.

My Vauxhall Corsa is a good car to drive. I am extremely short, but the seating gives me good visibility all round.

BOUGHT THIS CAR FROM NEW AND HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH ALL ASPECTS OF THIS VEHICLE.

I would never buy another make of car. I have always bought the Corsa as they are very reliable and safe. I have never had any breakdowns over the past 20 years or so. Would recommend the Corsa very highly.

Love my Corsa SXI. It's the older model. Tried out the newer model and don't like some of the design features, so will stick to my older Corsa and run it into the ground. Comfort does not now get a 5 star rating due to its age - but would have had a 5 star rating from new. Running costs are purely down to fuel prices and also the fact that this car has sports alloy wheels - so tyre prices are a bit steep, but I'll never compromise on cheap budget cars due to my style of driving

This car is old, done over hundred thousand miles, but has been 100% reliable, always passed MOT first time, very low repair bills-minor items like temp guage. Very good for petrol use, lots of miles from a gallon. Body has stayed almost rust free since it has plastic trim all round the wheel arch, under front and back. Why don't they make all cars like that?

The Corsa is a compact car, but with a reasonable amount of space in the boot. It suits my needs, which are mainly for local journeys (shopping, socialising etc). My cousin, who is about 6 feet tall, however, found the driving position rather cramped, even with the seat as far back as it would go.

I bought this car when I was told I would have to leave my job at aged 65. This did not happen for another 5 years and had I known I would have bought a car of 1.2/1.4 engine size. I have been happy with the car except the gears - I had to have the 'links' renewed and I am still not confident that they are OK. I like a car, however old, that I feel confident driving. Would I buy another Vauxhall, probably not but might if I was convinced that the gears had been altered. At the moment I am looking at the VW UP but it had a tiney sound when driving.

Comfy seats but big body for a small car with no 3/4 panel visibility ,its metal(this is overtaking blind spot). Also NO front visibility for parking, but this seems common on newish cars. Watch out for road tax .. £125 per year for a 1.0 ltr car.Later models are £30 per year. The book 50mpg DREAM ON.. you get 45 on motorway, 25-30 round town--driven carefully!!. Other wise great car,and it handles/drives well. Go for 1.2 or bigger, they are better on petrol and faster.

used daily for work the corsa has never let me down, it's fairly cheap to run and insure etc, comfy and roomy despite me being well over six feet tall, nippy round town and keeps up with traffic on long runs, easy to park etc and with foldable rear seats very adaptable to take large loads which I sometimes need for work

A reliable, easy to drive car. I've had Corsas before and bought this one as it was 6 months old but had only 16 mls on the clock. I've also had Fiestas so compare the Corsa to them. 3 gripes: 1. I'd prefer a heated windscreen to the heated seat and heated steering wheel it came with, they're totally useless. My previous car was a 2007 Fiesta and this had an excellent heated windscreen. 2. The Fiesta also had a dashboard button to release the boot which is more secure than the boot opening when you unlock as the Corsa does. 3. Fiesta gearbox is superior, much smoother. I've never bought a new car in 50 years of driving. I buy the newest, low mileage used Vauxhall/Fiesta car I can find, it has to be pristine and in a colour that I like.

This car has been most reliable, since purchasing it, and the comfort afforded has been very good indeed, for a car of its size. Being an SE model the many features it has have made driving very enjoyable with safety a key factor and is economic to run.

I have owned my Vauxhall Corsa for about 18 months and have found it to be reliable and fairly economical particularly on long runs . It is reasonably comfortable and has enough luggage capacity for most occasions although for holidays use has to be made of the rear seats. All round the car has no particular vices or strong points.

In days gone by people used to talk about 'tea break cars' -and sadly I have one !! So many things have gone wrong since the car was purchased from new - cylinder head, suspension, electrical faults etc. I would have to think very seriously before buying or recommending a Corsa to anyone.

It does what it says. Reliable, efficient and fit for purpose.

I use my car mainly for fairly short journeys. It starts well, drives well, although it needs to be changed down to third gear when going up hills, and gives a comfortable ride. Three in the back is fine for trips that are not too long. Petrol consumption is not particularly good on short trips but improves markedly on longer trips. The capacity of the boot is fine for 2 people going on holiday.

My corsa has been totally reliable even in the worst weather. It is really comfortable and feels solid and sturdy. Friends with bigger cars have remarked just how secure it feels. The hatchback and folding rear seats allow you to carry very large loads, and even with the seats in normal position there is plenty of room for rear passengers. The heating/air-conditioning works extremely well, as do the de-misting, radio/cd etc. The only down side is the tax which is £240 per year which seems very expensive (due to emissions?) which I find galling. It's also a bit heavy on petrol even though it is regularly serviced.
