I have found my car to be very reliable, fairly economical and always hard working. She has rarely let me down. I have had her from when I was a learner - almost 12 years now and until her time comes, I don't plan on parting with her.

I have always driven Nissan Micra`s and find them to be a very reliable and good car. Perfectly suiting my needs.

An excellent small car very reliable and a pleasure to drive.

Although it's an older car, I really love my Nissan Micra. The ones of this age were very well made so have lasted well and there are still a lot of them on the roads. Sadly, the ones from 2003 onward were not so well made and have not go the same reputation for reliability. My mechanice tells me to hang onto this one for as long as I can. It has been an excellent car - so roomy, relaible and comfortable and I would be lost without it.

My Nissan Micra is wonderful, it is cheap to run i get 55 miles to the gallon, loads of boot space cheap tax the only downside is that it is not aesthetically pleasing on the eye.

I find my Micra is economic to drive, it easily does the 70 mph on the motorway, but doesn't really like faster pace. Only have a problem now with the lambda sensor but still I say it's a reliable car.

I am very pleased withe car. I replaced my older car last year and that was a Micra as well. The new one is much better. It has the same advantages as my old car and more. In particular, it handles very well in any weather or terrain. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a small family car.

My Nissan Micra was registered in 1996 and purchased by me during 1997. The car has been brilliant, extremely reliable, and driven by one careful lady driver! Great value!

Being our second car my mileage is no more than 1000 miles per year. It is used only for short runs hence the high running costs which are over £1.00 per mile. It is just kept as a convenience for when my wife is travelling with me when she prefers to drive her own car.

A perfectly satisfactory and useful car for my purposes. It gets me from A to B in comfort, without taking up vast amounts of road space. It could be more economical, but an automatic was not be my choice. The automatic is excellent for city work. Everything works.

Seems to be a good all round car

The model I have now is 10 years old, has never been garaged, starts first time even in the coldest of winters or if left 2/3 weeks when I am on holiday, still gives me 60mpg in summer , 56mpg when it is colder, a running total of almost £3,000 has accrued over the 10 years taking in tyres, exhaust, brakes and MOTs. At the last MOT (July) I am told rust at the front could prove costly so I will have to look for a replacement sooner than later. Very sad. I bought my first Micra, brand new, in the early 80's (C reg)when I stopped smoking and changed them every 24/30 months as they were used for work and a mileage payment helped with finance but since I retired seven years ago I have become attached to this one and am really loathe to part with it. Will I buy another Micra? Almost certainly.

I have had my Micra for five years and although she is getting to be an old lady now, she is economical to run, comfortable and never lets me down. She is excellent in wet or snowy weather and a very nice drive. The elderly find her easy to get in and out of and at times has made a very useful pack horse for a variety objects. I love my car xx

This is my third Nissan Micra. I find them very suitable for a smaller person, with nothing being to long to reach for. All the cars have been very reliable, requiring only a little maintenance. The newest car has been very practical being used to ferry my belongings when I moved house and also being able to carry 4 passengers.

This is my second Micra - both bought as new. Excellent front seats for comfort if you have a bad back. Also easy access for less able bodied passengers. Running costs excellent - ave 48.5 mpg even on short journeys. Worth getting Tekna model with built in sat nav.

A superb little workhorse. My car is 15 years old and is still going strong. It is comfortable, very spacious and economical. Small enough to fit into tiny spaces but, with the seats folded down, big enough to transport a range of large items comfortably. There is a lot of window in the Equation giving maximum visibility all the way around unlike more modern cars. A little more engine power would be preferred, especially when overtaking but as a basic model you feel you are controlling the vehicle rather than the vehicle controlling itself. Definitely no frills! If this model was still in production, I would wish to replace my current vehicle with an exact copy when the time came.

I wanted a car that was reasonably priced, had good fuel consumption, was comfortable, had 5 doors and could fit 5 people or 3 with holiday luggage. I bought the car from new on 0% finance three years ago and It has met all my expectations.

A practical small car with a very tight turning circle, easy to park and reasonably cheap to run. The big disadvantage is the lack of keyhole in the doors, meaning that the doors can only be opened electronically. My husband lost one key and it's going to cost nearly £200 for a replacement as the cheaper replacements will only start the ignition and not open the doors. The steering is also very sensitive and we have to concentrate hard to keep the car straight at high speed (70mph +) on motorways. I also do not like the deep boot which makes it hard to lift out large and heavy objects; I preferred my older Nissan micra model for this reason. But in general I am satisfied with the car, which was bought second-hand and serves me well.

My head told me this would be a great car, but my heart was a bit worried: yes, it's a neat little sports car, but is it a bit girlie? Yes, a totally sexist thing to even think. But at least I'm being honest. Well, it turns out that all my mates in the pub, who love taking the mick, don't take the mick out of my Micra Sports, because they see how versatile it is, what a massive boot it has, how I can roll the roof back in 20 seconds at the flick of a switch, and cart round all sorts of weird shaped objects from noticeboards to bales of straw. The only problem it's ever given me is the screech from the alternator belt whenever it is damp and the temperature is below 10C. At this point it doesn't look chic enough to combat the associations you get with that noise with a clapped out auld cartie! And,sadly, no garage has ever silenced it. I squirt some chalky water over it - low tech solution! There is one surface feature which is awesome: the paint job (I think it's called "mink") is EXACTLY the colour of the mud round here on the country lanes. So come winter time, all that happens, is it changes from a gloss finish to matt, and no need for endless carwash experiences. I love my Micra Sport.
