A compact car, with plenty of legroom in the front. Pretty tight in the back if you are over 5 ft 3ins tall. the automatic is very easy to drive, and at times you take things for granted. You also tend to get your left foot going to sleep on a long journey !!!!!

Reasonably comfortable and nice to drive. performance adequate for my needs. Lots of extras wich I never use ie cruise control etc could do with more interior storage space Main disadvatage no spare wheel I paid extra to have one fitted. Only done 2000mls so far so cant comment on reliability

Had the car from new, now 5 years old and had no repairs. Just over 50000 miles and still 100% reliable. Tyres lasted close to 40000 miles and still averages over 50 mpg. Cheap to insure and very low road tax. Great car.

Our Clio has been in the family for 9 years since new and has always been reliable and trustworthy mechanically. The only problem we have had is the sun roof leaking in badly which I was told by local garage is a common fault on Clios. Running costs have been pretty reasonable over the years but now it seems to becoming less economical to run as newer models nowadays.

Goes like a rocket when I want it to. Gets 50 mpg round town & up to 70 on a long run. Looks sharp & is comfortable & easy to drive. Loads of space - takes my drum kit (& the bass player & bass rig) with ease. This is my 2nd Clio - Very happy !

My Clio (this is my fourth one) is a reliable, comfy and economical car. Nice to drive, holding the road well. It has a very large boot space for the size of the car and holds more luggage etc than some of my friends' cars which are bigger than the Clio. All in all a wee cracker.

absolutely fine for a local runaround but can become uncomfortable on journes over 2 hours.

Fairly cheap to run as the replacement parts are reasonably priced it's easy on fuel. Generally the vehicle is pretty reliable. Not much pulling power in the engine. Good as a city runabout but for extended trips, not really comfortable enough. The electrics can be a bit eccentric in damp weather. In summary - a good commuting and local trip vehicle.

Perfectly functional small car, reliable, no major problems since purchase. Just not very exciting...

Absolutely delisted with my new Clio. A lovely drive and economical. Only negative is satnav - not as easy to use as satnav in Clio TomTom. It won't let you put in whole postcode and then often doesn't pick up address you need - very frustrating!!

Turbo therefore good acceleration. Problem with squeaky brake that mechanics can't seem to fix.

The latest Clio model is a marked step up in quality than it's predessor. The economic 3 cylinder engine is a marvel. More torque, greater acceleration, more economical to run, £30 road tax. This is an ideal run about around town, yet has the poke to hold it'd own on todays motorways. Standard equipment is what you would expect on premium brands. The only downside is no CD player, perhaps I am a little old fashioned. Overall an excellent package.
