Vauxhall Astra reviews

My car is very reliable and is the best car we have had since I started driving. It gets me to my destination without any problems unlike my other car. It is a perfect size family car for which I need it for.

Rubbish glove box and door side holders can.t fit a map into door pockets glove box is at an angle so will only take car book and nothing else

I use the car daily to go to and from work covering over 50 miles per day on the motorway. It runs very well, it is a little under powered in 5th gear. It is not given me any major problems from new with 63000 on the clock.

One of the nicest cars I have ever had.

I love Vauxhalls. This car is comfortable, easy to drive, park & generally use. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same make/model again! The only downside are the running costs!

Reliable, comfortable and spacious older style astra, practical for nearly everything from moving house to a night on town with car load of friends.

I've had vauxhalls for years and I do like this body shape. The car is comfortable and pleasent to drive but being an1.8 auto it is not overly economical. around 26mpg in town and 36mpg on the motorway. Would I buy another - yes without hesitation

Drive a lot of motorway miles, do not thrash about not getting MPH vauxhall say.

Had Vauxhalls and mainly Astra's for many years and always been pleasure to drive. With Arnold Clarkes taking over our local Vauxhall dealer the offers they give are great but forgetting the 30% saving it still would have been a new Vauxhall

I have owned this car for over 10 years and it has done only 28,000 miles from new. It is mainly used for long journeys and has been problem free for all these years. My wife's car is an even older Astra which we have owned for nearly 15 years and has also been very reliable.

I enjoy driving my Astra, a spacious car which is easy to drive. Reliable and reasonably safe.

No problems so far.Only minor moan is heater fan is noisy and rear visability poor .(as most newish cars.)

Extremely attractive car, especially with larger wheels. Well equipped, well built interior, no rattles or signs of wear in 24K miles. Seats have seam along front edge which can chafe backs of knees. Excellent performance, instant pick-up when overtaking, in-gear acceleration impressive. Car driven fairly quickly most of the time on A and B roads. Car used predominantly for journeys of 50+ miles, no short trips of 2-4 miles, therefore economy very good, always returns 50 - 54 mpg. Easy to access rear seats, large boot. Would definitely purchase another GTC.

A sporty looking car looks better than your average saloon car. Reliable and affordable.

my 53 plate astra is better to drve than my 59???

I own two Astras and have driven many from hire car companies, they are functional and reliable vehicles.
