A good reliable car but not as economic as claimed

I use my car mainly for travelling to work and back, i have found the Corsa reliable and good on fuel. The boot space is good, plenty of space for shopping. I have had a couple of electrical problems but due to the age of the car this is to be expected and i was advised that these were common faults on this make of car. I have had no other problems since these have been fixed. I think as a cheap run around car the insurance is relatively cheap and it is good on fuel consumption.

This car has generally been very reliable, but I have had problems with the water tank, and I have been somewhat disappointed with the acceleration capacity compared with other makes of car with the same engine size. The boot is a good size for the size of the car, but as a dog owner, it would be helpful if the top of the boot was a few inches lower.

Needed a small economical car and this is it.

I have hade this car for 5 years and it has never let me down.I would say comfort is ok and space is fine fuel is not to bad.I would rate the ford fiesta a better car than the corsa.

little disappointed with the overall fuel consumption....but generally pleased with the car.

Very good safety, comfort, and performance

It's fine for the little mileage I do and for getting around town

As I have only had this car for three weeks I have not had time to experiance a great deal . But the ride is very comfortable and layout of instrements is ok, but this model does not have adjustable stearing column so steering wheel covers some of the speedo and fuel gauge,with my seating position. That is sometimes off putting.

2006 corsa,owned from new,great little car.57000 trouble free miles.

Car that does nothing brilliantly or badly. Quite comfortable, cheap to run and not bad to drive. Boot small, not much storage space in cabin, but seats fold down flat making it useful for taking larger loads. Large dealer network so getting parts not an issue.

After 15 years it has been a good and faithful servant.

Since I purchased it second hand, I can be sure that as long as it is well serviced and look after, it rarely lets me down on a long run i-e 400 miles plus it will take approx 3/4 of a tank, running around locally a 1/4 of a tank I will be lucky to achieve 50 miles

it is very nice

sluggish with poor acceleration, struggles going up hill. blind spots from side views making it difficult when pulling out of junctions. Good seating space but driving seat has a mind of its own and over time moves position, very odd.

This car replaced a 1995 Corsa but as it's only been six months l may find problems later. l think there is too many electric items that could in time breakdown.For a start three times l've been locked out,the doors can be opened by the key but the petrol flap will only open by the key button so l'm worried now there is no way to refill petrol without the key button working.It's not better than the old one for the miles to the gallon so it's around 40 around town and 45 on a run. The power steering is good,radio/CD player is very good,the boot is very good but with the speakers in it take alot space. Most light bulbs have had to be changed but it's easy to get to them,even though the car was supplied with full MOT l've had to buy new tyres but they were only the same as the old Corsa's cost.l've used it for two holidays so far and found it very good, but with most of the engine it is impossible to see l can see it will cost a lot of more money as the old one, as l had been able to cure that one if neeeded.

I really like driving my very old corsa. It's my first car and I will definitely be buying vauxhall in the future again.

adequate formy needs

I have had my Vauxhall Corsa for nearly 12 years. Whatever the weather, in the freezing cold, snow and ice, even if it's been left for weeks when we've been on holiday, it has always started first time, every time. It has never had any major problems which cost a lot to repair, it has never broken down, and my next car will definitely be a Vauxhall again....if I can afford one !!
