Bought the car as a second car for short trips in and around he city. Excellent nippy drive, good handling. The easytronic doesn't change gears as smoothly as a normal automatic would. However, in manual setting the car is a dream to drive. Low on CO2 emissions for it's age as well and hence low on road tax. Great for getting into tight parking spots. Enough room for all your shopping or even moving smaller items of furniture. Overall a good wee second hand car.

I love my little car...bought it from an address over 100 miles away through e-bay...she has been nurtured and loved, and has only let me down once when the windscreen wiper failed in a storm...unfortunately in comparison with modern cars, she is not as fuel efficient etc., but the fact that it does not have power steering is to me an advantage, as I would rather struggle to park than not be able to feel my wheel friction at 70 m.p.h or on icy, wet or greasy roads at lower speeds that were safe to the conditions.

Now the family have grown up and fled the nest a large car is no longer necessary. A Corsa is the ideal size for our needs, economical on fuel when driving to the South West on a regular basis.

There are no real issues with the car except that due to the mileage and journeys I do it would have been better if I had gone for a 1400cc engine size

This model Corsa is not at all fuel effecient, lacks power uphill makes overtaking, even slow lorries difficult. I am sure that I was misinformed of model on my test drive. Would not consider buying again

This is the 3rd Corsa I've had, and although I really like the car, some features of my previous model are missing despite it being more expensive. For example, if you had front windscreen wipers on with the previous car, and you put it into reverse, the back wipers automatically came on. My main bugbear with this one thought is it just doesn't seem to 'do' hills, even though it's a 1.2L, same as my old Corsa. While in Northumbria last year, I was on my way to Rothbury, which has some SERIOUSLY steep hills. I was in 1st gear, being passed by cars 20 years older than mine with smaller engines. I actually got to a point where I thought I was going to have to get out and push; which was a bit scary to be honest. Oh well, maybe it's the driver, not the car. The garage are at a loss to explain it's lack of uphill 'Oomph'.....

I have owned my corsa for 11 years and had it from new. It has been totally reliable, never let me down, and very few repairs needed. The Main expense has been having too replace both Front and rear Road springs both of which have had one snap. the fronts at 5 years old and the rear this year. The only two other parts which have failed, were the hand brake cable, and the outside temperature sensor. It has only covered 36,000 miles and has been serviced totally by myself. The Handling, comfort, performance, and economy are all perfectly acceptable. The paintwork is still all original and has a good shine still., and the interior is still good. I have no immediate plans to change it, as it does everything I want, also I do not like the newer version, (or the Astra) as the hatchback opening has become to narrow in the interests of styling over practicality. Also the rear side windows and rear windscreen, have become to small with too much blacked out round the edges reducing rearward visibility dramatically.

Great little car, really economical and would have scored top marks except it hates winter and when it drops below 5c is a devil to start.

Owned this car for three years. Never had any problems. It is comfortable, great to drive, ideal for city use and fine on the motorway too.

I love my Corsa. I switched from a Meriva and thought I would miss the extra space but actually I don't. It is a good quality comfortable car with plenty of leg room for passengers. It is reliable and, despite the small engine, it doesn't lack power. It is economical to insure, tax and in terms of mpg. A great little car!

I like Vauxhalls having owned several in the past 22 years from hatchback, saloon, estate, etc. The Corsa I bought last year has been wonderful. Firstly I changed to an automatic - so much more relaxing to drive. It is smaller so easier to park but it still seats 4 adults in comfort. And it is very comfortable. Road tax is cheaper and fuel consumption is ok considering I mainly drive in town. It is an ideal town car in every way. Whats not to like.

Nice little run around , but not practical for work purposes and long distances. Does not like steep hills and can put foot through floor , engine is not great and can have management problems regularly. It's a good first car for a new driver .

Overall an excellent car, however there seems to be a problem with the Diesel fuel filters on this model which will affect performance and reliability under certain circumstances. It will switch to ?limp mode? and needs a dealer to reset it. Dealer advice was to rev the engine at 3000+ rpm for 30 mins each day (i.e. drive at high speeds in lower gear) which is not very eco-friendly or good for fuel consumption.

I chose a vauxhall corsa after reading reviews about small cars and I also liked the new shape. It has not disappointed me. As it is a 5 door, it is easy to get in and out of. The drivers seat is comfortable. I can't comment on the passenger or back seats as I have never sat in them but I've had no complaints and there is plenty of leg room. My car has been very reliable and to date in the 4 years I have owned it, it has never broken down. It is powerful enough to accelerate away at roundabouts and copes with the steep mountain roads that I have to use every day. The boot is quite small but if I have no back seat passengers, it is easy to put the seats down and extend the boot space. I would definitely choose this make and model again in the future.

Very under powered which puts the driver in danger during motorway journeys. Likewise on hills easy to find yourself trapped among large lorries. Great vehicle for the green agenda but a step back in comfort and safety.

This is my third Corsa and it has been ideal for my purpose. It is comfort and big enough for the family.

All my friends are amazed my car is still going - but it is! Doesn't cost much to fix. It's basic so less to go wrong! I don't need all those fancy electrics! They only cause more problems. I love my car.

Although it's not the fastest of cars, my little Oriental Blue Corsa ticks pretty much every other box for me. It looks stylish, is very cheap to run (£30 tax per year!) and totally reliable. People are always surprised by how much space there is inside and the MP3 aux socket allows me to listen to my iPod in the car. Love it!
