Having 2 dogs this car is great for us. Would look for another Ford when the time comes. Excellent service from local Ford Dealers when service & MOT is due.

Reliable and cheap to run. I've clocked up 102K and whilst it squeaks and rattles I have enjoyed owning this unremarkable but easily managed car. With the seats flat it swallows a big load and the rear seat l;eg room is most acceptable. I could have done a lot worse when I bought thsi car s/h from a main dealer.

A bit of a "Ronseal" car does exactly what it say's on the tin. I have owned this car for nearly 3 years and have no major problems. Easily keeps up motorway traffic and being a diesel has enough pulling power in the mid range. Fuel economy is excellent and only £30 road tax. The boot could be a little bigger but that's the price for having a full size spare wheel. Would recommend a Focus to anyone.

Reasonably reliable and relatively cheap to run

I have always had a Ford of some kind, the best one being a diesel Escort I had for 9 years. My present Focus Estate is similar, not quite so comfortable but simple and easy. No frills driving but suits my dogs and my lack of interest in things mechanical. Very functional and reliable, my dogs love the space and I like the ease of changing things from dog carrier to people carrier.

This car has been and still is overall a good, reliable workhorse. There is good response from the steering, good road holding and a comfortable, smooth ride. If I had to give a down-side it would be that the running costs, specifically the fuel consumption could have done with being a bit better. I've had this car for 8 years and am still very happy with it overall.

4600miles trouble free, great to drive, space and practically all that's required, not particularly comfortable a bit harsh and fuel consumption higher than expected especially in town use.

Nice car to drive in town or motorway. Loaded with gadgets as its a Ghia model

It does what I want from a car,ie taking two dogs out for a walk, taking rubbish to the tip, getting me to and from work, weekly shop, garden centre etc.I do not want satnav or bluetooth etc,(which it does not have) the simpler the better for me.I do my own maintenance where possible & this car is OK for that with my Haynes manual.

I am lucky enough to have my present car which has not given me any trouble so far

I have only had my 'Ecoboost' Focus for six weeks but has lived up to all my expectations. I did not put to much faith in Ford's advertised mpg figures but I am happy with my own mpg so far. Although the longest trip I have done is only about 15 miles and I have done many shorter trips I am already averaging over 43 mpg which is a big improvement on my old 1.6 2009 Focus. The 2012 model Focus is a fantastic car to drive - no understeer - no oversteer - goes exactly where you point it.

I've had several fords and focus type cars, this one has power uphill unlike the 1600,and does not suffer engine management failure or flat spots. It has nice smooth gears, and well layed out cockpit. The compartments for kit are rather limited. The seating is adequate, the acceleration is quite good, the shape is quite pleasing(although later models and Titaniums are more refined) Thanks Ford you saved my life literally, twice. Stephen Parfitt

Fantastic car. Very reliable and spacious inside.

I have had problems with the car, e.g. two new clutches, gasket replacement, gear lever problem. Found Ford dealer garage very cynical.

fair car but sometimes to complicated which causes extra bills

I have had my car for two years and I am very satisfied with it's performance, reliability, comfort and fual cnsumption.

I have always had Ford cars and to be truthful find them very reliable, easy to maintain and I am loathe to trade my car(s) in for a newer model because I tend to "fall in love" with my car (so does my wife)

The model is a Ghia and possibly has far more gadgets on it than I need

Great Car, good fun with great performance. An already sensible car, but with a big engine it has good performance as well

I have had my current Ford Focus for over 3 years and it's been fantastic, no problems with it at all!
